What does Excel to PDF do?

Excel to PDF renders your workbook or comma-separated file into a fixed-layout PDF you can email, archive, or print without exposing formulas or editable cells. Upload a modern Office Open XML spreadsheet (.xlsx), legacy Excel (.xls), or plain .csv through the same multipart file-tools API used by other converters on Dynamic Duniya. When processing finishes, you get a download link for a file such as spreadsheet.pdf.

Options in the UI

Sheets: send every worksheet or restrict to the active sheet only (first sheet when the pipeline maps “active” that way). Orientation toggles portrait versus landscape. Paper size is a native select for A4, Letter, or A3. The dropzone accepts standard spreadsheet MIME types and caps uploads at 30 MB. A progress indicator runs while the file uploads and converts.

Privacy

The spreadsheet leaves your browser for server-side rendering. Avoid confidential payroll, health, or regulated data if your policy forbids third-party processing. Download the PDF promptly; signed URLs may expire.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will every chart and macro survive in the PDF?

Expect a visual export suitable for sharing. Complex charts, slicers, macros, and some conditional formats may simplify or omit depending on the server pipeline. Proof the PDF before external distribution.

What is the maximum file size?

The uploader is configured for up to 30 MB per file.

Does conversion happen in the browser?

No. The file is uploaded to Dynamic Duniya infrastructure for conversion, similar to DOCX to PDF and other file tools.

Can I use CSV instead of Excel?

Yes. The accept list includes text/csv alongside Excel MIME types so a single-column or multi-column CSV can be turned into a PDF table layout when the backend supports it.

Is Excel to PDF free?

Yes for typical personal and work use; respect fair-use limits and your organization’s data-handling rules.
